Tournament announcement!

I’m glad to announce to you that we will have a tournament that will be held very soon. But I’m confused about what will be the tournament game, so please take This survey to help me decide the game that will make you most satisfied to compete in.

Information about the three games:

Call of duty: modern warfare 3

It’s a First-person shooter game -centered on gun and projectile weapon-based combat through a first-person perspective- developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games and released on November 8, 2011

Defense of the Ancients

It’s a multi-player online battle arena mod for the famous game Warcraft 3 the developer of this game love to stay unknown and he always refer to himself as “IceFrog” and of course you can contact him on IceFrog@gmail.com. This game first released on 2003 but it’s always updated.

League of Legends

It’s a multi-player online battle arena inspired by Defense of the Ancients itself, developed by Riot Games and released on October 27, 2009 many gamers think its number one around the world and all the statistics shows the same.

Most popular game in the world.

'League of Legends' Bigger Than 'World of Warcraft ' More Daily Players Than 'Call of Duty

League of Legends

For a free-to-play multiplayer game based on a Warcraft 3‘s Defense of the Ancients mode, Riot games‘ League of Legends is enjoying some extraordinary success. How successful? This info-graphic reveals some startling numbers which may leave you gobsmacked. Based on hours played per month (and according to Riot’s research), League of Legends is the most played video game in the world.

To cast aside your doubt, consider this: It has more daily players than Instagram has daily visitors. At its peak, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft had 12 million subscribers; League of Legends has 32 million players monthly. Last Friday, 650,000 gamers were concurrently playing the top 100 games on Steam. Meanwhile, there were 3 million playing League of Legends at any given time on a typical day in July. At its most popular point, Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 had an impressive 3.3 million daily players. League of Legends sees 12 million.

Korean pop sensation Psy (“Gangnam Style”) has 1.6 million likes on Facebook. League of Legends has 4.2 million likes.

Microsoft's most successful game franchise — Halo — has enjoyed more than 2 billion hours of game-play since 2004. League of Legends averages more than 1 billion hours of play per month. Oh, and those 35 million active LoL players are quickly approaching Microsoft’s 40 million Xbox Live subscribers.
League of Legends is also bolstering the popularity of e-Sports.

Riot Games offered $5million in tournament prizes during its 2nd season of tournament play (the winner is crowned tomorrow in Los Angeles). The company is even instituting salaries for certain Season 3 players.

We are finally here!

I’m writing this just to let you know that I finally finished working on my blog. It’s a blog about video games in KUWAIT-TOWN, to be more specific it’s about “online video games”.  If you ever played games like call of duty, league of legends, war craft or many others and care to share your experience and knowledge, this is the right place for doing so. Thank you!
